Position:        Director of Leadership Programs
Reports To:    President/CEO, Richardson Chamber of Commerce
Status:            Full-time
Salary: Starting salary expected to be in the range of $60,000 - $70,000 annually, plus benefits.  Final offer will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

The Director of Leadership Programs is a full-time position responsible for administering Leadership Richardson, Women In Leadership, and to assist with additional events and programs as needed.
Major Responsibilities
- Administration of Leadership Richardson Program.
 - Staff Liaison to Chamber Women in Leadership Committee
 - Event and program support, as needed
 
Leadership Richardson
Program Management
- Manage the annual admissions process including application, selection, notification, acceptance and preparation of all materials for each year’s class.
 - Prepare and manage the annual program budget.
 - Plan and oversee the development of the leadership components, including preparation of materials, for the following sessions:
- Orientation retreat, October leadership development, and May closing session
 
 - Secure session hosts and program sponsors.
 - Coordinate monthly programs with hosts.
 - Coordinate the graduation event.
 
Curriculum Management
- Oversee work of Curriculum Committee advisors.
 - Oversee seven topic session committees to maintain quality and integrity of sessions.
 - Conduct leadership development training at select sessions.
 
Other
- Prepare reports for RCC Executive Committee/Board of Directors
 - Prepare newsletter and PR materials for Leadership Richardson
 - Maintain Leadership Richardson webpage & Constant Contact email lists
 - Ex-Officio member of Leadership Richardson Alumni Association
 - Ex-Officio member of Leadership Richardson Advisory Board – prepares agenda and takes minutes.
 
Women In Leadership Committee (WIL)
- Manage Committee meetings and activities including, but not limited to:
- Committee meeting preparations: Work directly with chairs and volunteers
- Agenda and informational material preparations, meeting minutes
 
 - Planning and coordination of WIL programs and events (in coordination with Events Manager and Marketing team)
 - Work with sub-committees and volunteers on various program and committee organizational processes
 
 - Committee meeting preparations: Work directly with chairs and volunteers
 
Other Responsibilities:
- Budget preparation and management.
 - Event coordination.
 - Marketing and communications related to Leadership Richardson, Women In Leadership, and various events and activities.
 - Assist with varied Chamber programs as necessary.
 
Meeting and Event Attendance Expected
- Leadership Richardson Sessions
 - Leadership Richardson Curriculum Committee (monthly)
 - Leadership Richardson Alumni Association Board (monthly)
 - Leadership Richardson Alumni Association Events (quarterly)
 - Leadership Richardson Advisory Board (bi-monthly/as called)
 - RCC CEO and Staff Meetings (weekly)
 - RCC Women In Leadership Committee Meetings and Events (monthly, bi-monthly)
 - RCC Events and Programs as designated by President/CEO
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate of Leadership Richardson or a comparable leadership program
 - 3+ years experience in program and volunteer management, nonprofit leadership, or similar
 - Involvement in the Richardson community a plus
 - Experience on a community organization board of directors
 - Experience in Leadership Training and Development
 - Ability to develop & maintain an honest broker relationship with all stakeholders
